As part of our ongoing interest in low carbon living, population health and personal mobility, we've got a number of projects in the pipeline. If you want to collaborate on any of these, just let us know.
Our Deployables project was born in 2016 CSIRO Hack the Sun hackathon, exploring how we can deploy low impact mobility solutions quickly into a disaster zone to restore basic transport access. Turns out, it can also make a great eco-tourism operations base!
ReliefM8 Recovery box
In joint project work with ausfirehack.info the need became clear for a deployable container that comprises self-contained solar energy, water and recovery tools needed for rebuild of key infrastructure like fences and water supply, providing a lockable, independent facility that can be quickly delivered to fire affected farmers, landholders and families who want to stay on their property during rebuild + recovery work.
